FAQ

  • What do I need to know about guitar before taking this challenge?

Nothing! This challenge is designed for people who have never played guitar or are just starting out.

  • Do I need any specific gear to take this challenge?

You only need a guitar and a pick. (You should also tune your guitar before every lesson)

  • What if I can't complete the challenge in 14 days?

Take your time and complete the video and workbook page for each day in order. If you need more than 14 days, that's totally fine! The point of this challenge is to kickstart your journey as a rhythm guitarist.

  • My fingers hurt!

After playing guitar for a few weeks you'll start to develop callouses on the tips of your fretting hand fingers (the ones that press on the strings). Until then, take frequent breaks, stretch your fingers, and practice your strumming patterns.
